Ace In The Hole

It was a short conversation.

Probably meaningless to my boss.

He recounted a conversation he had with another colleague looking to work with the company. 

He said that I was his ace in the hole. 

Me!

He didn’t need to tell me about the conversation, but he did. 

And it made me smile.

Today, I am grateful for a fantastic boss who appreciates what I bring to the company. 

There’s nothing quite like it. 

This is my game face. 

Because I’m the ace in the hole.
