Energy

Today was one of those craptacular days. Antonio is in between jobs, so he promised me that I could enjoy sleeping in this morning, while he took care of the morning routine. Instead, we woke up to a customer screaming in the facility. Between the two of us, we managed to call the police, deal with the customer, and take the 6th grader to school.

Between the two of us, we forgot some important things for Dan and he did NOT have a great day at school. It’s not really worth going into. It was just one of those days when the vice principal calls you and you sit in an office and work out a safety plan and make promises and plans and do all the good things to help prevent future problems.

The screaming customer came back. Antonio rescued me from having to listen to his lies and rants.

While he was outside dealing with the onslaught of negativity, I sat on my black leather couch, with the cat curled up beside me. I began to breathe in and out. I started a meditation using “I am” statements. I am Genesis Eve. I am safe. I am love. I am joy. I am gratitude. I am a sister. I am a daughter. I am a mother. I continued just letting I Am statements flow through my mind and my breathe. I felt relief, peace, and strength enter into me. I began sending light and peace to people in my life who I felt needed extra love.

I felt myself become a conduit. I felt my energetic connection to the whole universe. I am a part of this universe. I have the power to spread love, light, joy, peace, strength, and forgiveness out into the world.

The negativity still prevails, but hopefully as it comes into contact with my spirit, it will find a way to evolve and find it’s way to a better plane of existence. We are all interconnected. All the atoms that flow through me reach out and entangle with your protons, neutrons, electrons, and quarks. We energetically hold hands. Through the power of my mind, I can lift your consciousness.

On days like today, I’m so grateful to remember these things.
