I think the title of these posts are perhaps misleading… I have a tendency to jump connections. The title should really be. “There Are Things I Don’t Want To Talk About and as a result, I have discovered good things that I really want to discuss. Part blah blah blah.” Rather than clear things up, I’ll allow readers to fumble and find their way through my wonderland of merry musings.
On to the next topic! TV! Television!
Currently, I’m watching Unforgotten! I think I like it because the theme song is so comforting. Here’s a link to the theme song.
Truly splendid.
I love the stories because they don’t dwell on the grizzly violence, rather they tell the story of what lies and injustice can do to a person. It just feels so truthful. The small decisions to deceive wear at a person’s soul. In the season I’m currently watching, Alex Jennings is playing a doctor. I saw Alex Jennings play Hamlet at Stratford upon Avon back in 1997! I took his picture as he left the stage door! He was so good.
Another TV show I enjoy is Glee. Dan and I have been watching it together. He prefers it because it’s happy and not about people dying. I like it because I sing all through every episode and singing just makes me happy.
Dan also really likes Atypical on Netflix. It’s about a high school senior with autism. I enjoy it, but it also makes me a little bit crazy because the mom is bonkers and I hate her.
Our family’s favorite TV show is Parks and Recreation. Leslie Knope and Ron Swanson make everyone in our whole house (all two bedrooms of it) feel warm and happy every time we watch an episode. If you haven’t watched it yet, you’re dumb and I judge you.
Just kidding!! You’re a lucky person whose joyful journey is just about to begin!! You’re only dumb if you choose to deny yourself this wonderful adventure!
